Mister Arots was always the first person outside of the house I saw in the morning throughout high school - because he drove the Sallies bus for Claymont and north Wilmington. I'm not sure exactly how long he drove the bus for, but I know that he also drove it the whole time my brother went to Sallies from '84 to '88. After years of discussing music with Mister Arots, I broke down and decided to go into Beginning Band at Sallies on the clarinet and was able to move into the Wind Ensemble my senior year. He also let me clean up the band closet area as my Eagle Scout project for the Boy Scouts of America (if I remember correctly, he told me he made it all the way up to Star in BSA himself.) Mister Arots, I'm sure you're in a better place now. Know that you have multiple students who are greatful for the impact you had on their lives. Sean Patrick McBriarty Salesianum, Class of 1995
